- For now, MACRO will be used in TOPS-20 to assemble programs. The GAS port isn't canned, but is not a priority at this time.
WORK TO DO
- Teach BFD, GAS about 9-bit bytes.
- Add TOPS-20 back end to BFD.
- Port GAS to TOPS-20.
Currently, it's not a priority to port any other binutils utility than GAS.
